Durham Farmers 2015

Borderers won the toss and put the Farmers in to bat expecting the wicket to dry out a bit for a 30 overs game, played at Mowden Hall School.

A fine evening for cricket with no hint of the rain that had proceeded the days before. The wicket was understandably slow and the captains inability to win the toss was a set back.

The Borderers won the toss and took to the field on a balmy evening, Manderston offering a dry and firm wicket, with the going good to firm in the outfield.

Newmarket Racing XI 2014

Having lost the toss the Borderers were put into bat in a 35:35 game. A beautiful pitch but rather a sticky wicket.

Weather bright to start, cool, with high cloud turning to a dark/overcast rain laden covering that thankfully held off for the duration of the match.  

Durham Farmers 2013

J Ritchie lost the toss and were made to field in the scorching "death valley" heat of Mowden Hall. Note: pitch looking fantastic, wicket had 'interest' at one end.

North v South 2013

On a balmy Northumberland day the south batted first and scored 217 for 7, declaring at tea.

The north chased down the runs with 10 balls to spare – Ian Purvis scored 137 not out and received the inaugural presentation of the Simon Stodart trophy for Man of the Match.

Aysgarth 2013

After winning the toss, Aysgarth reached 172 all out. Ed Johnson taking four wickets.

Borderers scored 175 with a few overs to spare.
